Tuesday, April 5, 2016 – 6:30pm to Thursday, May 12, 2016 – 9:00pm
Welcome to the 12th annual Fisch Haus Tuesday Night Jazz Series! Each evening starts at 7:30 pm, with doors at 7, and admission is free, but we suggest a donation of at least $5. All donations go directly to the bands, so we encourage you to be generous if you had a great time. The shows are open to all ages, and we invite our audience to bring their own refreshments, but ask that alcohol not be served to minors.
We’re switching up the format of our jazz series this year, and trying something brand new (at least for us!). The 2016 series will highlight jazz guitar, with a different guest guitarist featured April 12, 19 and 26. Highly acclaimed local musicians and educators, Dr. Mark Foley and Steve Hatfield, will be curating those three performances, as well as playing backup for their chosen guitarists. The list of guitarists will be posted soon. The series kicks off on April 5, with a performance by the guitar kings themselves, the Wrong Kata Trio.
Tuesday April 5, 12, 19, 26; 2016: 7:30 pm each night
- There will be a special International Jazz Day celebration on Saturday, April 30th, also at 7:30: a night of original music starring polyGnome, David Lord, Sam Hake, and Zack Lorenson.
