SPECIAL EVENT TONIGHT! March 20

In addition to a killer jazz show, tonight we’re also featuring a special fundraising event for our not-for-profit, Fisch Bowl, Inc., hosted by our good friends and benefactors, Eric Ireland and David Mercer. Tallgrass Film Association will also be participating, offering several (very tempting!) donation incentives, as follows. Here’s how it works: Eric and David are challenging everyone to help them raise $3,000. If $1,000 is raised by the end of the night on the 20th, they will contribute $500. If $2,000 is raised, they’ll contribute $1,000, reaching the final goal of $3000. Donations can be made prior to the show on the Fisch Haus website. We can accept cash, check or credit card payments at the concert. Tallgrass Film Association will enter you into a drawing for a pair of VIP TALLPasses to the 10th annual Tallgrass Film Festival ($350 value) if you donate $100 or more. Donate $20 or more to be entered to win a pair of tickets to April’s Third Thursday screening of the Oscar-nominated animated jazz film CHICO & RITA ($20/value, 4 pairs available). Come out tonight and help us work towards upgrading our gallery’s power and light systems, hiring an assistant, and becoming ADA compliant! And also to listen to some awesome jazz!

A very, very big and sincere thank you to Eric and David, and the Tallgrass Film Association!

Update, as of 03/21/12: Thanks to the overwhelming support and enthusiasm of all involved, we managed to raise nearly $5000 last night!!! Wow. We are simultaneously overwhelmed and so grateful! And, congratulations to our Tallgrass raffle winners: Kirk Olomon, Christina Calhoun, Gaye Tibbets and Brad Pace won free screening vouchers, and the grand prize of two VIP TallPasses went to Mark and Krysti Weddle!!
