Fine Art Exhibitions

Fisch Haus has hosted several large-scale exhibitions every year since 1993, featuring the work of both the resident artists, as well as a wide breadth of regional and international artists.  Exhibition formats range from 2D displays of drawing and painting, to performance art and 3D installations.

MUSIC

The Kirk Rundstrom Amphitheater highlights a highly eclectic yet comprehensive cross-section of the local music scene, and offers national and international musicians an opportunity to develop their own individual performance practices. Fisch Haus is proud to host the annual KNOB New Music Festival and the Fisch Haus Tuesday Night Jazz Series, as well as many other experimental and unconventional events every year.

Dance

The Fisch Haus gallery space has often been adapted for multi-disciplinary performances by regional dance groups and choreographers. The annual Living Statues collaboration with Ballet Wichita is one of the more popular and accessible events, but Fisch Haus has also hosted many avant-garde and experimental smaller-scale experiences.

Theater

Fisch Haus is glad to be able to offer a highly-flexible space for a wide field of potentially controversial theatrical productions that would not otherwise have been performed in Wichita.  The Obstreperous Players have presented several challenging pieces over the years, and inaugurated an annual spring festival called Theatre Thursdays in 2015.

The fully-lined raw canvas bag, designed at Fisch Haus and sewn by local seamstress Valerie Young, is a handy 11” high x 13” wide x 4” deep, and features two inner loops to keep your glass and beer safe, and an exterior loop to make sure all your stuff stays inside. The logo is embroidered, and the adjustable strap, secured with solid plastic hardware, is constructed from the same canvas as the bag. The off-white bags come in gold (Carhart yellow, actually) and pink lining/logo, but the pink bags are limited to an edition of 10.
