Final Friday, June 29: Daydream

There have been many attempts to categorize the music of Daydream: jazz fusion, rock, funk, chamber music, latin, and even dubstep. Daydream finds themselves pulling material from all of these genres to create a palette that is raw and thought-provoking. The 10-piece horn band has made waves throughout Kansas as an ambitious young group of musicians pulled from symphony orchestras, churches, classrooms, salsa dance clubs, and everywhere in between. Their knowledge and dedication to the music come together to seamlessly create a sound that provides lush harmonies, catchy melodies, intricate rhythms, and breakdown sections so dirty you’ll want to wash your hands afterward. Daydream will be accompanied by members of the WSU dance studio for a mixed media production at PLATFORM that you will NOT want to miss!

Albums will be available for sale @ $10. Bring your own chairs!
