In conjunction with his one-man exhibition, Pierced by Dogma, at the Ulrich Museum of Art, Fisch Haus co-founder Patrick Duegaw presents an exhibition of related study drawings at the Fisch Haus this spring, his first FH show since 2007.
These studies demonstrate the process behind his large-scale painting series entitled The Innumerable Anxieties, and range from sketchbook concepts to more detailed and refined drawings on paper. Also featured are full-size study drawings for three portraits currently in progress.
The FH exhibition, entitled STUDY, will run from Final Friday, March 31 – May 14, the Ulrich dates are April 22 – August 6. The Ulrich is hosting an artist talk, with performances by Mark Foley and Dan Racer on Friday, May 5 at 5:30.
The exhibition catalogue, Pierced by Dogma, is available to view online, and may be purchased at the Ulrich Museum of Art. Photography by Dimitris Skliris, design by Kim Curry.
